You really don't need to use that much ammo to kill enemies. This means that if you upgrade the capacity for a gun in which you have 0 ammo loaded, you will get ammo for free! Using a node to upgrade a weapon's capacity will completely refill the clip.

Additionally,if you place a weapon in the store you won't get ammo drops for it (thank you u/Appropriate_Ad_8775 for this last part) This means that you can store most of your ammo and health packs in the store, and you'll get more drops as a result! If you keep your stash on you, the game will think you are in a good spot and replace most of the drops with 100 credits. If you don't have a lot of health packs in your inventory, you'll find more as well. If you don't have a lot of ammunition in your inventory, you'll be more likely to get some as random drops.

You can easily manipulate the drop "randomness" in the game.Get two achievements for the price of one! Additionally, this'll allow to focus on upgrading the plasma cutter to the max, which will make it extremely deadly. Not having to switch weapons in a fight is much easier than having to juggle between the different weapons. This tip highly depends on your playstyle, but playing impossible with only the plasma cutter actually helped a lot for me.However, with the tip above, it's not an actual issue as you can save each time you encounter a save point, which prevents any progress loss There are indeed crashes and softlocks happening at the moment, especially when you rush through the game.

But you can save over it as many times as you want! It's explained badly and many people think you only get one save.
